A sign, a licence, a ban on a face. Only then an image.
Detective said an image is not proof. Maker adds: who “made” it and may you put it on a wall? A generated picture is not yours like a pencil drawing. It is a service output. A parent reads the service rules. A teacher reads the school code. You write a sign: an illustration from AI, not a photo, checked with an atlas / an unchecked shape crossed out. You do not use a classmate’s, a teacher’s, your own face as evidence. You do not use a school badge unless the school says. You do not use an image that is meant to look like another company’s logo. A licence is a word you can say: rules of use. It is not a paragraph to cite blindly from a model. A model invents a licence. A parent opens the real terms, or you do not use the image.
Bára generates an animal for science. Ema draws a sign. They compare the shape with a textbook — the legs sit. Onto a poster it may go with a caption. A second try: a face “like the headteacher”. Stop. A third: a school badge. Stop. A fourth: a model writes “public domain, print away”. Mum opens the terms. It is not that simple. They keep a hand drawing. Certainty. Bára gets that a licence from chat is a fake citation in another coat. A sign with no lie about public domain. A hand with no fight. Maker sometimes makes less image and more truth. That is fine.
When a parent does not want to read the terms, do not use an AI image on a public wall. A hand is a licence you know.
A truth sign, a ban on a face, a licence is not a hallucination
A truth sign: what it is, what it is not. A ban on a face: people from school and IDs. A licence: real terms or a hand. A public wall (a noticeboard, a school website) is stricter than a notebook. A notebook can carry a practice image with a sign. A noticeboard wants certainty. A photo from a textbook has its citation. An AI image has no imprint like a book. That is why care. Maker is not a gallery of prompts. It is responsibility for what hangs. It hangs with your name. A name by a lie about a licence hurts.

Do not copy someone else’s photo into chat “do it in this style”. That is often theft of a likeness and of an author photo.
Why this right now
You are in the course Ask with Martin, level Maker. You work in a chatbot (ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude) — same game, different brand. No code. A parent or the school creates the account. A child’s email does not belong here.
This is not the Inventor level. There you build a chatbot on your own website. Here you are a user: a question, a check, a citation.
You will know this lesson by one sentence: An image from AI only with a sign, with no faces, with rules someone really read — or a hand. When you can say it to a parent or a teacher, you have got the core. The rest is practice, not magic.
Tomorrow music and voice. Same logic: do not steal, a sign, a person reads the rules. Today an eye. Tomorrow an ear.
