The grades project — it comes together
From Persiapan you have sheet Grades. From Cell kid you can do a range, colours, merge a heading, insert rows. Now we glue it: a table you can show a parent and a teacher. Formula kid will add the average formula — today you can leave the Average row empty or put a hard number from a pencil as a check.
Target look: a merged heading at the top, bold headings, borders, alternating rows, column A wide, grades on the right as numbers.
Step by step
-
Heading: row 1 merged A1:B1 —
Grades — mine. Bold, centre. -
Headings row 2: A2
Subject, B2Grade. Bold, fill colour, borders. -
Data from A3: at least 6 subjects real or practice. Column B numbers 1–5.
-
Format: borders A2:B(last row). Alternating colours on the data (not on the heading).
-
Column A double-click the edge — whole subject names visible.
-
Under the last grade an empty row. A
Average, B still empty or a hand estimate.
Data check
Go through every B cell:
- Alignment on the right?
- In the formula bar only a number, not
2-ortwo? - Subject in A, grade in B — never together?
An empty row in the middle. The average later skips an empty cell, but an empty row looks like a mistake. Delete the row or add a subject.
Optional column C — a note
Column C3 Catatan. C2 a heading. “Test”, “homework”. Column width like A. Widen borders to A2:C(last).
🏫 Grade average
One sheet, two columns: subject and grade. At the bottom a sum and an average.💰 Pocket money
Rows = days, columns = income / spend / left.📊 Class survey
One question, answers in one column, later a chart.🏆 Mini dashboard
Three numbers at the top and one chart. Numbers as a link, not copied by hand. Now you 💪
- Sheet
Gradeslooks like a finished table, not a raw grid. - At least 6 grade rows. Headings in row 2 (not 1, if you have a title).
- A border around the whole data block.
- Column A shows whole subject names.
- An
Averagerow at the bottom with a label in A — B ready for a formula.
Check: The grades project is visually selesai. Formula kid will only add the counting.
What to take from this lesson
- A project = heading + headings + data + a place for a sum/average.
- Cell kid skills on one sheet together.
- Numbers in B, text in A. Always.
- The average comes in Formula kid — the structure is now.
- A nice table is easier to check and share.
