Each hook has a door out of the chat
Curious circled hooks. Detective carries them to doors. A date: a table in a textbook, an atlas, an event calendar, a teacher. A number: a map scale, a table, calculate, official statistics you open. A name: an index, an imprint, a reader, a library catalogue. The same window that invented the hook will not excuse it. Not a second same window either. Doors out are another kind of thing: paper, a catalogue, a person. Today you train three doors on one chapter. Slowly. One hook, one door, a tick or a cross. Three ticks are a fair paragraph. One cross with no cross-out is a hole in honesty.
Adam has a year, a number of kilometres and a name. Bára opens a table: the year sits. An atlas: kilometres rounded differently — they write “the textbook says X, chat Y, we take the book”. The index: the name is not there. A cross. They cross out the sentence. Adam wanted the number from chat, because it was more precise to metres. Bára: “Precision with no door is a mask.” A teacher takes a table from a book. The mask would fall. Three doors, three decisions. No “maybe both” for a name that does not exist.
With a number ask: more precise, or made-up? Made-up precision has lots of decimal places and no source.
Doors, not a feeling. The feeling of a sure tone is a locked room.
A sure tone closes doors in the head. A detective opens them as a routine. Routine hurts until it is a habit. A habit is faster than embarrassment. When a door cannot be opened (the library is closed), the hook does not belong in work today. It waits. That is not cowardice. It is “I do not know yet”. 학교 can wait for a source. It cannot forgive a fake name. A village population, the length of a stream behind school, the name of a “local scientist” — a model likes to invent those, because they sound local. Doors: a village board, a map, a teacher. Not chat.

The method:
- List hooks on a line.
- By each write a door.
- Open. Tick, cross, or “waits”.
- Cross → cross out the sentence.
- Waits → the sentence does not go into handing-in today.
Do not check a name by putting it in a search engine and clicking the first AI overview. That is a cook again. A catalogue and a book.
Why this right now
You are in the course Ask with Martin, level Detective. You work in a chatbot (ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude) — same game, different brand. No code. A parent or the school creates the account. A child’s email does not belong here.
This is not the 인벤터 level. There you build a chatbot on your own website. Here you are a user: a question, a check, a citation.
You will know this lesson by one sentence: A date, a number, a name — each has a door out. The same chat is not a door. When you can say it to a parent or a teacher, you have got the core. The rest is practice, not magic.
Tomorrow wiki and a teacher as more doors. Today three basic ones. Without them wiki would only be another wall of text.

Workshop: three hooks, three doors
You ask for a short lecture. You list three hooks. By each a door. You open. A protocol in the notebook.

A chapter with a table and an index. M1 five sentences. List at least one year, one number, one name. If there is no name, ask for “one name from the work” and still check — it may be fake.

Write a door for each. Open them one by one. No rush.

Tick / cross / waits. Cross-outs.

A number that is “more precise” than the book: write both, take the book until a teacher says otherwise.

Go through three checks. At each one tick in your head: can I see it, or not?
- You can name three doors.
- A cross means a cross-out, not “we leave it”.
- An AI overview in a search engine is not a door.
If something is missing, go back to the steps above. This is not a test for marks. It is a safety net, so you go on sure, not confused.
Check: A protocol of three hooks has ticks and crosses from doors out, not from the same window.
