A line is not a teacher’s mood. It is whose the sentence is.
People guess the line: “he does not like it”, “she is mild”. Guard draws it in facts. The line is: you hand in work that is not yours as if it were. Someone else’s sentence from a model, a friend’s composition, a test key, a fortune of tomorrow, a poster print with your name. Before the line, when the brief allows: an outline, questions, an analogy, a wrap of your sentences, a storm of slogans with your hand. A grey zone you do not argue with a model. You ask a teacher. “Everyone does it” does not move the line. A brief and truth about a sentence move it. A code writes the line. You can do an example on both sides. A headteacher wants an example, not philosophy.
Ema: “is it a cheat when it orders my points?” Adam: no, when the points were yours and the meat yours. “And when it writes paragraphs and I swap three words?” The line. Ema goes red, she did this in September. Now she knows. They write into the code: someone else’s sentence as mine = over the line. A question for learning = before, when the lesson allows it. A test always over, when a window is open. A headteacher would want exactly this clarity. Not twenty exceptions. Ema draws the line in a notebook thick. A teacher’s mood does not belong under the line. A brief does.
A sentence test: can I say it from the wall and show a source? No → rather over the line, even when it is pretty.
A brief draws the line. A class average does not.
A brief “in your own words” = meat you. A brief “you may AI for an outline” = a skeleton yes, meat you. A brief “an AI ban” = a window for the work no, even a home one. A test = a ban with no debate. An average “everyone pours” is pressure, not law. Guard holds a brief. Grey: ask, write the teacher’s answer. Do not let a model explain a school code. A model hallucinates paragraphs. A paragraph is a teacher and a headteacher. You are a pupil who asks. That is strength, not weakness.

Do not let a chatbot explain a school code. A hallucination of a paragraph is a fake citation of a law. A person.
Why this right now
You are in the course Ask with Martin, level Guard. You work in a chatbot (ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude) — same game, different brand. No code. A parent or the school creates the account. A child’s email does not belong here.
This is not the 인벤터 level. There you build a chatbot on your own website. Here you are a user: a question, a check, a citation.
You will know this lesson by one sentence: The line is someone else’s sentence as yours. A brief draws it. A class average does not. When you can say it to a parent or a teacher, you have got the core. The rest is practice, not magic.
You can do keys. A line says what on a pitch is a foul. Tomorrow when AI insults — another foul, other help. Today honour of work.
