A plan “what if they steal the phone”

Step by step. Without a night hunt on a map.

A plan before panic

When they steal or you lose a phone, the head rushes. A plan on paper with a parent says what to do in order. Without a hunt on your own at night on a map.

A draft plan (a parent adds numbers):

  1. Call a parent immediately — from someone else’s phone / school
  2. Find My — a parent plays a sound, locks, maybe erases
  3. The operator — block the SIM (a parent calls)
  4. 비밀번호s — change important accounts (mail, a network), if there was no lock
  5. The police — with a theft a parent reports, you do not deal with it on your own
  6. 학교 — a teacher knows, if it was about school things
💡

A screen lock + Find My on = half the plan 완료 before. A photo backup = photos do not lose everything. 2FA = accounts hold even if someone unlocks the phone.

Write a plan with a parent

  1. One evening. Paper or a note with a parent. Not into chat.

  2. Fill in the steps above. The operator phone number — a parent. A school / teacher number — if you want.

  3. Practise the sentence: I lost the phone. Find My is on. What now?

  4. Attach to the phone audit: Loss/theft plan — yes, date [ ].

What to say at home

To a parent:

“Can we write a plan if they steal the phone or I lose it? So I know I call you first, I do not hunt a map on my own.”

Into family rules: A lost phone → a parent immediately. Find My not an adventure on my own.

⚠️

A plan is not hunting a thief with friends. The map is for a parent. It is not a film. Safety is more important than a phone — if there is danger, run and call an adult.

Now you 💪

Write a plan with a parent — today or a date on paper. At least: 1. I call a parent 2. Find My 3. the operator.

Check Find My on and the screen lock. Without that the plan hurts more.

Check: A plan on paper with a parent. Find My and a lock OK. You know you call a parent first.
