A row in the middle does not mean copy everything down

You add a subject between Maths and Czech. By hand you would rewrite the whole column. Insert row shifts data down and leaves a gap.

Deleting a row works the other way — the row disappears, the rest jumps up.

Click the row number on the left (for example 4) — the whole row is selected. Right-click → Insert row / Delete row. In Excel the same.

Insert a row between grades

Sheet Grades. Find the row with Czech (for example row 4 after headings).
Click number 4 on the left — the whole row blue.
Right-click → Insert 1 row above.
An empty row. Czech jumped one down.
Into the new row A IT, B 1.

Formulas under the table (when you have them) must recalculate — range B2:B6 you may need to widen to B2:B7. That is Formula kid.

⚠️

Delete row ≠ clear cells. Delete on cells leaves an empty row. Delete row removes it and shifts the rest. For an empty row, Delete of the content is enough.

Insert more rows

Select rows 5 and 6 (click 5, Shift+click 6). Right-click → Insert 2 rows above. Two empty ones at once.

A column — briefly for now

The same with letters at the top: click C → insert a column to the left. It helps for a note by the grade in column C 메모. Today rows are enough.

Pocket money — an extra weekend

Pocket. Click row 9 (under Sunday).
Insert a row. In A9 type holiday or extra. B9 income, C9 spend.
If it was a mistake, right-click row 9 → Delete row.

One sheet, two columns: subject and grade. At the bottom a sum and an average.

Rows = days, columns = income / spend / left.
