A parent’s account and pocket money

Pocket money can come by transfer. It is still a piece of an adult’s work. Statement numbers do not belong on the network.

A transfer is not a tree. It is Friday 80 in another wrapper.

Pocket money onto a card or by transfer is the same income as coins. The source: a parent. The wrapper: an account. You do not see the whole family statement. You see what a parent shows. It is not your rent wage.

Banker joins 准备课 (where it is from) and Cashier (a record).

Jakub photos a statement “for a notebook”. On the statement rent, a shop, pocket money. Tereza: copy only the pocket-money line 80, do not occupy eyes with the rest, delete the photo. Family privacy. The notebook has 80, source a parent.

💡

Into a notebook: a date, 80, source a parent, wrapper a transfer. Not mum’s account balance. Not an alias of the whole bank.

A statement is not a textbook

A statement is adults’ map. A line. Pocket money is an island you may. A card limit, when you draw pocket money by card, still a brake — the envelope lower.

When a transfer does not come, do not hunt a debt in a chat. Tell a parent. A map of an adult’s work. Empathy with no rent numbers.

A shared account with a friend for pocket money no. A classmate is not a co-owner.

Tereza wants to shorten it to “it will be fine somehow”. Jakub asks what the lesson A parent’s account and pocket money is for, when a table can do a sum. A sum does not count respect, a PIN, a trap or an envelope. The core is: A pocket-money transfer is income from a parent. A family statement is not your notebook.

Adults pay the rent. The card, the account and the PIN belong to a parent. A child’s email does not belong here. Pocket-money numbers do not belong on the network. If you break these rules in the lesson “A parent’s account and pocket money”, you know a word, not the course.

Friday +80 a transfer. A record. Envelopes 20/40/20. Jakub would put 80 into W, because “it is on a card, it is not real”. A wrapper lies. Tereza knows from coin-card-phone.

Practice numbers, not a bank statement. Tereza has 80 Kč in the want envelope. Jakub pushes a step this lesson can name. When Tereza uses the core, either it waits for a parent, or it fits the envelope. If not, anger and a hole are left — proof of pressure, not that the lesson is pointless.

⚠️

Do not share a bank screenshot. Not even a cropped “almost”. An IBAN and a name often leak. And do not let a friend “just peek into the app”.

Why this right now

You are in the course Money with Martin, level Banker. You can write numbers in a notebook or a table, but the topic is money and decisions, not Excel formulas. The account, the card and the PIN belong to a parent. A child’s email does not belong here. Do not put pocket-money numbers on the network.

This is not the Sheets with Martin course. A table may help, but the mark of success is a decision, not SUM.

You will know this lesson by one sentence: A pocket-money transfer is income from a parent. A family statement is not your notebook. When you can say it to a parent or a teacher, you have the core. The rest is practice, not magic.

A lost phone can open an app. First know what in the app is not yours to forward. Then a loss.

If you skip this, the next lesson in level Banker will stand on fog. Island 80 is in a notebook. The mainland with no photo. A friendly co-owner no. It is not a test for marks. It is a safety net, so “A parent’s account and pocket money” is not only a heading.

Four things you will build from the course

The course has four small projects. You do not have to do them all at once. Today you add only what this lesson can do.

🪙 Pocket money

A 14-day record: income, spending, balance. What you do not write down is as if you did not spend it — and that is a lie.

14 days: a transfer line as income, not “from the air”.

🚌 Class trip

A budget, a reserve, a plan B. A shared till has rules.

The till: transfers only a teacher’s way, not onto your pocket account.

🎮 Game shop

V-bucks and a loot box are a purchase. A subscription keeps going.

A game: a saved card on that account. A lock.

🧾 Stall / mini-company

Cost, price, profit. Three numbers for the class.

A stall: do not mix takings with a pocket account.

Workshop: one line from an island

A practice transfer 80. Write a notebook line. With no IBAN. With no photo.

  1. A line: a date, 80, a parent, a transfer.

  2. What not into a notebook: rent, mum’s balance, an IBAN.

  3. When 80 does not come: a sentence to a parent, not a chat.

  4. Delete a practice statement photo, if it started.

You count with an island. The whole statement is adults’ mainland. You do not go onto the mainland with a phone into class.

Pocket money: 14 days: a transfer line as income, not “from the air”. Do not write someone else’s amount, a PIN, an IBAN or “how much a classmate gets” next to it. A rule and a practice number are enough — or an honest zero.

What to tell a parent with no wage and no account number: “Today I went through a parent’s account and pocket money — A pocket-money transfer is income from a parent. A family statement is not your notebook.” If they have no time, a slip in the notebook is enough. Stories and class chat are not enough.

I can write a transfer as income. If you cannot see this, let the next lesson wait. It is not shame. It is a hole in the chapter, not in you.

A family statement does not belong in a notebook. If you cannot see this, let the next lesson wait. It is not shame. It is a hole in the chapter, not in you.

I do not lend the app. If you cannot see this, let the next lesson wait. It is not shame. It is a hole in the chapter, not in you.

Practice: an island, or the mainland?

What to copy?

  1. A line +80 pocket money. Yes?

  2. An account balance 47 000. Why not?

  3. A statement photo into a notebook as a photo. Why not?

  4. A shared account with a friend. Why not?

Now you 💪

Go through three checks. By each one, tick in your head: do I see it, or not?

  1. I can write a transfer as income.
  2. A family statement does not belong in a notebook.
  3. I do not lend the app.

If something is missing, go back to the steps above. It is not a test for marks. It is a safety net, so you go on with certainty, not with a mess.

Check: Island 80 is in a notebook. The mainland with no photo. A friendly co-owner no.
