White space around a sentence is not a hole. It is air that eyes breathe.

Hierarchy already knows what is big. Today around it you leave air. Empty space around a sentence and bullets is not a mistake to pad. It is craft.

Imagine a slide with three bullets and a big title. It feels “empty” to you. Fear whispers: insert clipart into the corners. From the back, noise. The sentence dies. If you leave the air, the teacher hits the sentence from the door.

Rule: do not touch Insert → Image only to fill white. Better make the title type bigger, or leave the body with three bullets. Bullets max five times seven. Do not pad a fourth so it is not empty. Empty is right.

A solid background. Not a pattern. Not a photo under letters. Air has the background colour, not a pile of icons. A parent or the school holds the account. No child’s email. When Illustrator adds a picture, it must prove the sentence. Today do not put a picture here from fear.

Ema inserted three cliparts into the corners, because it looked empty. From the back, noise. The sentence died. Adam left air. Three bullets, a big title, nothing in the corners. The teacher hit what the slide is about already from the door. In the evening Ema deleted the cliparts and made the title 40. She said she was afraid of white. Fear is a bad adviser. White around a sentence is manners to eyes. Mum held the account. She did not sign in with email herself. Today you will not listen to that fear. Clipart in a corner did not carry the sentence. A bigger title did. She left the corners clean. Empty space around a sentence you leave on purpose. It is not a hole you have to glue a sticker over.

Before you insert decoration into a corner, ask: does it prove the sentence? If not, leave air. Air is more honest than fake clipart.

You watch air the same as the five times seven limit

Empty space around a sentence is not a hole. It is a frame that eyes breathe. If you kill the air with a sticker, hierarchy falls and the class reads mush again.

Do not touch Insert → Image only to fill white. Better make the title type 40, or leave the body with three bullets. Slide → Change background: a solid colour, not a pattern and not a photo under the text. Apply to all, if you keep one mode. Contrast from Prep holds.

Fewer bullets I take. Do not pad a fourth so it is not empty. Empty is right. When Illustrator comes, a picture may come here if it proves the sentence. Today a picture from fear must not.

A QR code to an email and a photo of a room do not belong here. Empty is safer than a bad picture. Slide → Change background to solid on all slides, so air has no pattern that eats type.

Wrong: three smileys in the corners, a “wow” sticker, a fifth bullet “and also…”, because space was left. From the back a market. A drowned title.

Right: Adam’s three bullets, a big title, clean corners. The teacher from the door. Ema after deleting the same. The mark was not for a filled area. It was that it could be read.

An example from a hobby: a bike photo belongs here when it will prove the sentence. Today, if the sentence holds on its own, do not push a photo into a hole. A hole is not a hole. It is air. Equally wrong is a fourth bullet “and also”, only so the area is not white.

Do not pad with a QR code to your email or a photo of a room. Empty is safer than a bad picture. No child’s email on a slide.

You say one sentence, show proof, answer “and what if…”. If you do not know, you say I don’t know.

Defence: empty around proof helps a panel read, not decoration in a corner.

Delete padding, leave air

You find a slide that feels empty. First you make the title bigger. You delete clipart. You leave corners clean.

Open a slide that feels empty. Present (F5), step back. Can you read the sentence? If yes, do not hunt padding. If not, make the title 40, not insert a meme. An adult account.
If clipart is already there, click it and Delete. Leave corners clean. Check you did not delete the title. The title stays. Air around it is the goal.
Slide → Change background: a solid colour, not a pattern and not a photo under the text. Apply to all, if you keep one mode. In PowerPoint almost the same: Design → Format background, solid fill. Contrast from Prep. Air has the background colour, not a pile of icons.
Bullets max five times seven. Fewer I take. Do not pad a fourth so it is not empty. Present (F5) again from the door. Eye on the sentence? Yes? Air works. No? Title bigger, not padding.
Go through the outline: where there is padding from fear, delete it. The workshop ends with a slide that has air and still carries a sentence. Drive watches saving. The name at the top holds.

Corners clean

Go through thumbnails. Every clipart in a corner that does not prove the sentence goes off.

Delete decoration in the corners that does not prove the title.
Check you did not add a fourth bullet only because of white.
Present (F5) from the door: does the sentence live? If not, make the title bigger, do not insert a picture.
