1. A slide outline First eight sentences on paper. Only then the plus in Slides. ⏱ 16 minutes
2. The title is a sentence, not “Slide 3” From the back they read the title first. Slide 3 says nothing. A sentence says what the minute is about. ⏱ 16 minutes
3. Bullets: max 5, max 7 words A bullet is an anchor, not a notebook sentence. Five anchors, seven words, full stop. ⏱ 16 minutes
4. What is important (a big title, smaller bullets) Title first, then anchors. Everything equally fat is noise. ⏱ 16 minutes
5. Empty space is not a mistake Air on a slide is craft. Padding with clipart is fear. ⏱ 15 minutes
6. Alignment and a grid Bullets and pictures sit on invisible lines. Dancing boxes hurt from the back. ⏱ 16 minutes
7. A duplicate slide A duplicate copies the layout. Rewrite the title at once. Two the same slides are a mess. ⏱ 15 minutes
8. Slide order Order on the left is an arc. Drag thumbnails, do not invent at the board. ⏱ 16 minutes
9. Catatans under slides (for you, the class cannot see them) The field under the slide is a hint. The class cannot see it until you show edit. ⏱ 16 minutes
10. Project: a report of 8 slides Eight slides: a start, three proofs, a close. The title is a sentence. The ceiling holds. ⏱ 20 minutes
11. Print / PDF for school A PDF is a bridge when school will not open Slides. It is not a second live truth. ⏱ 16 minutes
