Role-play a scam message

Practise an answer. No clickable scam in class.

Practise, not when there is a rush

Role-play = acting a situation in calm. A parent or a friend sends a “fake” message without a link — only text: URGENT! Click here for a prize. You answer with words, not with a click.

The goal: the sentences are ready when a real scam arrives at night.

Role-play rules at home or in class with a teacher:

💡

Rush + fear = a click. Role-play trains a pause. A second. “I will show a parent.” A second is cheaper than a lost account.

Three scenarios to practise

1. A prize / a win

Fake: You won a phone. Click within an hour.

Answer: I do not click. I go to a parent / a teacher.

2. A code from an SMS

Fake: 发送 the code that just arrived. It is verification.

Answer: I do not read a code. I hang up. I tell a parent.

3. Rush from a “friend”

Fake: Quickly send me the password to the game, or they will kick us.

Answer: An account is not lent. I will call you, to check it is you.

  1. With a parent: one scenario today. A parent sends text. You answer with a sentence. No click.

  2. Practise out loud the sentence: I do not click. I show an adult.

  3. In class only with a teacher — a description of the message on the board, not a clickable email. The class says the answer.

What to say at home

To a parent:

“Can we role-play? You send me a fake message without a link. I say what I will do. I want the sentences ready.”

To a teacher:

“Can we in ICT describe a scam on the board? No clickable link. The class says the answer.”

⚠️

Role-play in class without a teacher with a real phishing link is dangerous. Even “for teaching”. A description on paper is enough.

Now you 💪

One role-play with a parent today. Three answer sentences out loud.

Write into the campaign: Rush → I do not click, an adult. It is already there — now you can say it.

Check: Role-play without a link. Sentences ready. A pause before a click practised.
