One workbook, three sheets, one PDF
A teacher sometimes wants paper: grades, pocket money, a survey table. Not the whole workbook with everything. You set print by sheets — orientation, margins, what fits on a page.
A chart on paper must be readable. A table must not be cut on the right.
Print settings for one sheet

Click sheet
Grades. File → Print (or Ctrl+P). A preview on the right shows what comes out on paper. -
Landscape orientation, when you have more columns. With grades portrait is enough — A and B fit.

Turn gridlines on — on paper you will see cell lines. On a hand-in a teacher likes that.

Scale: “Fit to one page” only when the table is small. Grades A1:B8 — feel free 100 %, so the text is big. Shrink to 50 % = unreadable digits.

Print area: select A1:B8 including the average → Set print area. You do not print empty columns D–Z.
Set each sheet on its own. Pocket has more columns — landscape orientation. Survey maybe only columns D:E. Before handing in always a print preview.
More sheets into one PDF

File → Print. In Sheets: Select sheets — tick
Grades,Pocket,Survey(not the whole workbook withملاحظةs). -
On each sheet check the preview. A chart on
Surveymust be whole on the page — if it is cut, shrink the chart or landscape orientation. -
Save as PDF (Print → PDF printer / Save as PDF). الاسم:
excel-project-name.pdf. -
Open the PDF. Number of pages = number of sheets (or more, if a sheet is long). No empty page in the middle.
What often goes wrong
Printing the whole workbook including ملاحظةs. Practice dirt in a hand-in. Pick only project sheets.
A cut chart. In the preview it cut the right column. Shrink the chart or move it.
No print area. Ten empty pages. Set the area to the data table.
🏫 Grade average — sheet Grades
Print area A1:B8. The average in B8 must be on the same page as the table. A grades chart under the table on the same sheet is fine — check the preview.
💰 Pocket money — width
A1:F8 or where the table + sparkline reach. Landscape orientation. Column D (Left) must not be cut.
📊 Class survey — table + chart
Sheet Survey: area D1:E5 + a chart under it + a sentence under the chart. One page = the whole survey story.
🏆 Mini dashboard — later
You print a dashboard only as a final sheet for a teacher — one page, three numbers, one chart. Today you practise printing data sheets. A dashboard PDF comes with Workbook boss.

Check: The PDF does not contain ملاحظةs. Charts whole. Average and totals visible. The file named.
What to take from this lesson
- A print preview before a PDF. Orientation by the number of columns.
- Print area = only project data.
- More sheets = pick sheets, not “the whole workbook”.
