An ear steals as fast as an eye. You do not steal.
A model can copy a music style and sometimes a voice. That is not permission to put a radio song on a school video, a friend’s voice “for a laugh”, or a headteacher who “says” something they did not say. That is theft and sometimes a lie about a person. Maker takes silence, school-licensed music, your own clapping, your voice with a parent’s OK for a recording. Someone else’s hit into chat “do it similarly and I will use it at an event” is a trap. Detective would say: it is not proof that the star sings. Ethics says: even similar can hurt. Silence on five slides is fine. Silence is not boredom. It is honour.
Ema wants a YouTube hit under a campaign. Adam: stop. A school event. Ema tries “AI, do it like that song”. Adam: still a hit in a costume and maybe against the rules. They clap a rhythm, record with mum. A headteacher’s voice “generate, so they invite to the event” — stop, that is a fake person. Ema laughs, then gets it would be mean, not funny. On a presentation silence and her voice live. A teacher hears Ema. Not radio, not a ghost headteacher. Maker leaves a hit where it belongs: outside a school file.
A live voice at the board does not need a generator. A voice generator at school you almost never need.
Silence, your own sound, a ban on a fake person
Silence: a presentation can carry it. Your own sound: a clap, a recitation, a parent’s OK with a recording of you. A ban: a hit, a classmate’s voice, a teacher’s voice, “a celebrity says it”. A fake voice is a lie about who spoke. In a deepfake safety course more. Here a school minimum. Music from school (a licence the choir has) — a teacher says. You do not guess. A model that says “it is ok, it is similar” is not a lawyer. It is a cook of words. A parent and a teacher decide, or silence.

A stop sentence: “No fake voices of people. No hits. Silence or me live.”
Do not clone a classmate’s voice, even if “they would laugh”. A laugh now is not OK forever and is not parents’ OK.
Why this right now
You are in the course Ask with Martin, level Maker. You work in a chatbot (ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude) — same game, different brand. No code. A parent or the school creates the account. A child’s email does not belong here.
This is not the インベンター level. There you build a chatbot on your own website. Here you are a user: a question, a check, a citation.
You will know this lesson by one sentence: Silence or your live voice. Someone else’s hit and a fake person no. When you can say it to a parent or a teacher, you have got the core. The rest is practice, not magic.
You can do an image. An ear the same. Tomorrow a play with words — there theft is someone else’s composition, not a song. Same muscle: do not take what is not yours.
