← Level 5 – Maker

A script of 5 slides

Five headings, five of your sentences, five notes on what you will show. Not 40 slides of water from a model.

Five windows. You can carry saying each one.

A presentation from the window can have thirty slides you cannot carry. Maker wants five. A script: a title, what you will say (your sentence from the wall), what is on the slide (an image with a sign or nothing), a source when a fact. Chat a setter of order. It does not finish paragraphs onto a slide. A teacher recognises a wall on a slide. They recognise you too when you speak from five dots. Detective on every slide: a hook gone. Helper: a skeleton, meat yours. Today a script on paper. Tomorrow an image licence. Without a script an image is carnival. With a script you know whether you need an image at all. Often not. Text and a finger on a book are enough.

Adam gets 18 slides about the Hussites. Bára counts how many he can carry saying in three minutes. Five. They delete. M1: “only 5 headings, no text on a slide, order my points.” Adam writes one sentence from the wall under each. A teacher later hears Adam, not a PDF. A neighbour plays 18 and reads. The class sleeps. Five won. A fake quote on slide 7 went with the bin of the whole bundle. A script is scissors. Scissors are making. Not a slide count.

💡

Three minutes of speech = five slides is a ceiling at your school, unless a teacher says otherwise. More is water.

A script is a contract with time and with honour

Time: how much you can carry. Honour: what a finger can carry. A slide with no sentence of yours is karaoke of a model. A slide with your sentence and a source is Maker. A note “what I will show” stops you putting a classmate’s photo on a slide. Often you show a textbook. That is strong. A model will not think of that, because it likes to pour pictures. You think of it. A script has a column I SHOW. That column is a detective of eyes.

A script table.

#TitleI say (my sentence)I showSource
1A question, not a taska notebook
2A book as refereep. 41a textbook
3Three colourscrayons
4A fake bina slip
5How to aska slogan from a storma hand poster

M1: order my 5 points. Do not draw extra slides.

⚠️

Do not let a whole presentation be generated in a file to download from a weird page. A script on paper. You stack in a school-allowed tool yourself.

Why this right now

You are in the course Ask with Martin, level Maker. You work in a chatbot (ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude) — same game, different brand. No code. A parent or the school creates the account. A child’s email does not belong here.

This is not the インベンター level. There you build a chatbot on your own website. Here you are a user: a question, a check, a citation.

You will know this lesson by one sentence: Five slides, five of your sentences, a column I show. Not karaoke of 18 slides. When you can say it to a parent or a teacher, you have got the core. The rest is practice, not magic.

Tomorrow an image and a licence. Without a column I show you would put anything on a slide yesterday. Today you know a book is often enough.

Four things you will build in this course

The course has four small projects. You do not have to do them all at once. Today you add only what this lesson can do.

🏫 A report with citations

An outline, three sources that exist, and a sentence in your own words. AI must not be the only author.

A spoken report = this five.

📝 Test training

Coach role: let it ask, do not let it say the answer. You count / answer yourself.

Quiz: one slide one question, with no key.

📅 Family planner

Tasks for the week (not passwords, not marks). A parent sees the plan, not your chat.

Do not put a planner on a slide with passwords.

📜 An AI code for the class

Seven short rules on a poster. No horror — a how-to.

A campaign “how to ask” will use the five.

Workshop: a table of five

Five points from a Helper suitcase or from school work. A setter of order. Sentences from the wall. A column I show. No file from the web.

  1. Write 5 points. M1 order them, do not draw extra.

  2. Under each a sentence from the wall. Hooks.

  3. A column I show: a book, a bin, a hand — not a classmate’s face.

  4. Speak three minutes. When you cannot keep up, cross out a point, do not add a slide.

  5. A trail: a paper script, not 18 slides from the window.

Practice: can you carry saying it?

Five, or water? Why.

  1. 18 slides read from a screen.

  2. 5 sentences + a book in hand.

  3. A slide with an AI photo with no sign as “proof”.

Now you 💪

Go through three checks. At each one tick in your head: can I see it, or not?

  1. The table has five rows and a column I show.
  2. You can do the sentences with no wall reading.
  3. You do not download a file from a weird site.

If something is missing, go back to the steps above. This is not a test for marks. It is a safety net, so you go on sure, not confused.

Check: You can carry saying a script of five. Karaoke of a model stayed in the bin.
