The whole chain on one bit of work

The finale is not new material. It is proof that Curious holds together. You take one bit of work. You ask for questions, not homework. You give a stamp. Short. When it misses, you change the angle or vocabulary age. You open a book. You pull out a date and a name. Three questions. メモs of up to seven words. A five-point outline, the model does not draw extra. A 準備 timer still applies. A parent’s account still applies. When you skip one link of the chain, you notice: either water, or a lie, or someone else’s tone. Today skip nothing. Tomorrow Little bird adds a coach role. Without today’s chain a coach would only cheat politely.

Bára and Adam do the finale on the water cycle. Bára wants the shortcut “write an outline”. Adam shows the chain on the wall (slips). They go link by link. On a year hallucination they cross out. On copy they catch themselves when Bára almost pastes a definition. They write seven words. The outline has five points with pages. A parent asks: “Where do you know that from?” They show page 18. The chatbot has been closed for five minutes. That is a picture of Curious: a window helped towards questions, a book decided, a hand wrote. Nobody cares about a brand logo. The chain yes.

When a link is missing, you notice the fault

Without a verb: finished homework. Without a stamp: the wrong level. Without shortening: noise and names. Without an angle: rage at a logo. Without a book: a sure lie. Without hooks: a fake year in an outline. Without questions: water. Without notes: copy. Without an outline: a feeling that “you have something”, and nothing to defend. The finale is a diagnosis. When something sticks, go back to that lesson, do not jump into Little bird with a hole. It is not shame. Shame is a hole at the board. A chain is a friend, not a faculty exam.

If three items are missing, it is not a finale. It is another try tomorrow. A 20-minute timer.

Do not let the finale be “checked” by a second chatbot instead of a book. That is an old trap in a new shirt.

Why this right now

You are in the course Ask with Martin, level Curious. You work in a chatbot (ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude) — same game, different brand. No code. A parent or the school creates the account. A child’s email does not belong here.

This is not the インベンター level. There you build a chatbot on your own website. Here you are a user: a question, a check, a citation.

You will know this lesson by one sentence: Curious is a chain from a verb to an outline. A hole in the chain is water or a lie. When you can say it to a parent or a teacher, you have got the core. The rest is practice, not magic.

Little bird will want a role and a format. If you do not have a chain, a role only changes the costume of a cheat. Today a chain. Then a coach costume makes sense.

Workshop: a chain on a timer

Twenty minutes. One bit of work. A checklist. A parent may stand at the table and ask where you know it from.

Write eight chain words in the notebook margin. Set a timer for 20 minutes. Pick work from a book that lies on the keyboard.
Go links 1–4: verb, stamp, a short prompt, maybe one angle. No novel.
Links 5–7: a book, hooks, three questions and answers. Chat sleeps in this phase if you already have questions.
Links 8–9: notes and an outline. Chat may only sort your points.
Timer. 閉じる. Say the outline out loud. Show one page. If you can, Curious sits. If not, mark the hole and go back to that lesson.

Practice: which fault

For each symptom write which chain link is missing.

A paragraph sounds like an encyclopaedia and you cannot say it in your own words.
In the outline is a year that is not in the chapter.
The prompt has half a page and a classmate’s name.

You can say the outline out loud with a source.
You do not jump into Little bird with a copy-paste habit.
