Do not share an account with a friend

A borrowed account = a borrowed name. 学校 takes it seriously.

You lend a name, not just a game

“Just sign in, I will give it back in a minute.” It sounds like help. Then someone writes to a teacher from your account. 学校 sees you. The friend is gone. Homework is handed in under your name. A joke in the thread too. An invite you did not want to send too.

A school account, school Drive, a school classroom — do not lend. Not even for five minutes. Not even to a sibling, when the teacher counts on it being you. Not even “just for that one file”. The file downloads. The account stays open.

Netflix and family watching is a parent thing. That is not your school email. A family may have a shared profile for a film. 学校 may not. 学校 needs to know who clicked.

The same rule holds for games when the account carries your name, your purchases, your messages. A borrowed account is a borrowed name. If someone writes nastiness from it, they come to you.

⚠️

A password on a scrap on the desk, in a private message, in a screenshot “so you can sign in for me” — delete it and change the password with a parent. Do not leave the scrap “for later”. Chat remembers longer than a friendship lasts.

Why a friend wants it

Often it is not bad will. They forgot the password. They missed homework. They want a skin in a game. They want to “just peek”. Your no is not an attack on friendship. It is protection for both. They should not do things under your name. You should not answer for their clicking.

If they really need access to school work, the path is a teacher: a reset, a new code, temporary access that school can see. Not your login on a scrap of paper.

If they need a game, they should have their own account. A shared account in a game is a name again. When you fall out, chaos and your purchases stay.

What to say when they push

Short sentences, no apology. Say them out loud now. So the mouth knows where the end is.

If they keep pushing (“if you are a mate, then yes”), that is another sign, not a reason to give in. Friendship is not proved with the key to an account. You can say: “I am a mate, that is exactly why I will not lend it. So we do not both get in trouble.”

You do not need to explain the course. No is enough. If it is awkward in front of the group, go to a teacher or write a parent one sentence: “They wanted my school account. I did not tell it.”

Two short scenes

Scene 1 — at the desk.

Classmate: “Are you signed in? I will write the homework here, you just send it.”

You: “No. That would go under my name. ログイン with yours, or ask the teacher.”

Scene 2 — chat in the evening.

Friend: “送信 the password, I will delete it tomorrow. I need Drive.”

You: “I do not send a password. In the morning we will tell the teacher. They can do access.”

If you already sent a password once, you are not hopeless. You go to a parent: “I sent a password. I want to change it.” That is courage, not a confession of a crime.

A game, Discord, a shared lobby account

In a game it hurts less to hear, and that is why it happens more often. “Give me the account, I have more skins there.” “We will run it on one login so we are in one party.” Then someone changes the mail, sells things, writes nastiness in chat. They come to you. Even if you are at dinner.

A shared party is not a shared login. A party meets under their own names. A login is one person. If a game can do a family or official game sharing, a parent deals with it in the shop, not you in chat with a password.

Discord, Teams, school chat — the same rule. An invite to a server is not handing over a password. If a friend “just needs to see the channel”, they should get an invite, not your account.

If you already lent an account and you are reading this lesson now, go to a parent without sauce: “I lent a login. I want to change the password and sign out stranger devices, if the vault or the game can do that.” A parent clicks with you. You do not have to hunt “how to kick sessions” like a detective. Tidying is an adult plus you at the table.

学校 takes it seriously because under your name goes a mark, a message to parents, a file with classmates’ personal things. A calm reason. Not a horror film. That is why no.

If two people push you at once, you do not have to win the debate. You stand up. You go to a teacher. Sentence: “They wanted my account. I did not lend it. Can you tell them how they get their own access?” You did not betray a friend. You separated a login from the party. The party can wait. An account does not belong in a vote. Not even for five minutes.

A profile and an account are not the same

The project 👤 Safer profile watches what you write about yourself outwards. This lesson watches who clicks as you. Even a great profile with a nickname will not help if someone is sitting in your school account.

A nickname in a game may be a shared mood of the party. A login may not. A login is the ID card of that account.

Into 🏠 family rules belongs one strict sentence: We do not lend a school account. We do not send a password. Read it out loud. It sounds strict. It should. Strictness here is not anger. It is a fence, so friendship does not have to put out a school mess.

Now you 💪

Add that sentence to family rules. Read it. Then try one sentence from “What to say”, so you are not inventing it at the desk.

  1. Write on paper: We do not lend a school account. Not on Discord. On the fridge or into a drawer with the rules.

  2. Pick one sentence from the chapter “What to say”. Say it to a parent as if they were a classmate. So they hear that you can say no.

  3. If an old password is lying somewhere in chat or on a scrap, plan a change with a parent. Today it is enough to find it and say it out loud.

💡

If you lent an account before and “nothing happened”, the rule still holds. Luck is not a method. The method is no. From today.

Key keeper 完了. You can do a sentence, a vault and no. Next we hunt fake messages.
