Paper holds the promise that it should work

A warranty is: when it is faulty, the shop sorts it. It is not forever. It is not for wrecking on purpose. A receipt from 準備 works here. Without it the promise is harder to see.

A shopper does not carry an ID card. They carry a slip and a parent for bigger things. For a pen too — so you know the habit.

Jakub a watch for 199, in a month it stops. The receipt in the bin. Tereza: an envelope in a drawer. Mum goes. Jakub learns that 199 with no paper is 199 into the air at a fault.

A promise about function, not about a mood

A warranty does not sort “I’m bored of it”. It sorts that it does not have a fault you did not buy it with. A change of mind was last time. Now function.

A parent and the law know warranty lengths. You know: keep the proof, do not lie about a fall off a bike, come in time. A fall off a bike is said. A lie “it broke itself” spoils.
