Maths with Martin
Trường maths, playful: levels by year, 30 lessons per level, games and a worksheet. All miễn phí.
Each lesson has worked examples with steps. Practice lives on its own Practice page: you see every question at once, like on paper. Bắt đầu with ten and when it goes well, add 20, 50, 100 or 200. Write the answer — green = right, red = not yet, and next to it you see why. Nothing is sent to a server.

Bảng tra cứu
- Estimate first, then calculate. If the result does not match the estimate, look for the mistake.
- Times and divide come before plus and minus. Brackets beat everything.
- A fraction is division: 3/4 = 3 ÷ 4. A percent is a hundredth: 15% of 200 = 200 ÷ 100 × 15.
- When you do not know, draw it: a number line, piles, a rectangle, a triangle.
- Read a word problem twice. Underline the numbers and the question, then calculate.
- Check: put the result back in. An equation with no check is half the work.
- Convert units through one: 1 m = 100 cm, 1 kg = 1000 g, 1 h = 60 min.
- 10 minutes a day beats 2 hours once a month.
Thuật ngữ
- Sum, difference, product, quotient — the results of +, −, ×, ÷.
- Fraction — a part of a whole. Top is the numerator (how many parts), bottom is the denominator (how many parts it is split into).
- Percent — a hundredth of the whole. 100% is the whole, 50% is a half.
- Perimeter — the path around a shape. Area — how much fits inside a surface. Volume — how much fits inside a solid.
- Equation — scales in balance. What you do to one side, you do to the other.
- Mean — add everything and divide by how many. Median — the middle value of a sorted list.
- Prime — a number divisible only by one and itself.
- Pythagoras — in a right triangle a² + b² = c².
