A grid for times. Sentences for meaning.
When you put a planner into a paragraph, you lose Wednesday and the times. When you put a composition into a table, it sounds like a robot and a teacher wants a telling. Helper chooses a wrap by the goal. You know that from Little bird. Here it is for real: a family week = a table. Report meat = paragraphs of your paraphrase. A comparison island/peninsula = a table into a notebook, then maybe two sentences. A model likes to pour everything into a wall. You say the wrap. Then do not let a wall grow again under a grid. An intro “happy to help” at a planner you delete. At a composition a wall you did not write you delete too. Same scissors, a different reason.
Ema has a plan in a paragraph: on Monday maybe a map and then we will see and on Wednesday flute or not. Bára cannot catch it with her eyes. A table catches it. The other way Bára stuffs a forest composition into five cells. A teacher: that is not a composition. They send it back. Ema writes paragraphs. Bára draws a week grid. Two wraps, two tasks. A model offered both in a wall. The girls took what the task wants. Not what the window likes to pour. That is Helper: a wrap to measure, not a buffet.
One sentence of a wrap order is enough. “A table of 4 columns, no paragraph above it.” Or “continuous sentences only, no grid.”
A task commands the wrap. A window likes a buffet.
A school task: read the verb. Write, tell, compare, plan. Tell → a paragraph. Compare → a table or two columns. Plan → a grid of days. A window with no instruction almost always gives a paragraph. That is why an instruction. After the output check whether the wrap sits on the brief, not on taste. Detective taste at an analogy. Here taste steps back for a teacher. A pretty composition table does not excuse. A pretty composition instead of a timetable neither. A parent on the fridge wants a grid. A composition teacher wants you in sentences.
Two orders.
A: “A week Mon–Fri, columns task/club/learning, a table, no intro.” B: “Three sentences about a forest from my notes, continuous, no table, no new facts.”
When A comes as a wall, a move: “now a grid only.” When B comes as cells, a move: “delete the grid, keep my sentences in a paragraph.”
Do not let a composition “be made clearer into a table” and hand it in when they wanted a telling. Making it clearer is not a mark here. It is another genre.
Why this right now
You are in the course Ask with Martin, level Helper. You work in a chatbot (ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude) — same game, different brand. No code. A parent or the school creates the account. A child’s email does not belong here.
This is not the المبتكر level. There you build a chatbot on your own website. Here you are a user: a question, a check, a citation.
You will know this lesson by one sentence: A plan into a grid, a story into sentences. You split a buffet from the window. When you can say it to a parent or a teacher, you have got the core. The rest is practice, not magic.
Tomorrow another format because of ADHD/dyslexia — you still choose a wrap that helps reading, not cheating. Today the basic seeing of a grid vs. a wall.
Four things you will build in this course
The course has four small projects. You do not have to do them all at once. Today you add only what this lesson can do.
🏫 A report with citations
An outline, three sources that exist, and a sentence in your own words. AI must not be the only author.
A report outline is a list, the meat paragraphs.
📝 Test training
Coach role: let it ask, do not let it say the answer. You count / answer yourself.
A quiz is a list of questions, not a novel.
📅 Family planner
Tasks for the week (not passwords, not marks). A parent sees the plan, not your chat.
A planner must stay a grid.
📜 An AI code for the class
Seven short rules on a poster. No horror — a how-to.
Code: “A wrap by the task.”
Workshop: one week, one paragraph
Do not stuff the same topic into both. A week into a table. One paraphrase into sentences. Two outputs, two purposes.
-
M1 a table of three learning days. No paragraph. Redraw onto the fridge or a plan notebook.
-
M2 three of your sentences on the topic, a ban on a grid. A wall filter.
-
When wraps pour together, split with scissors. Do not merge into one hand-in.
-
Say which output would go to a composition teacher and which to mum on the fridge.
-
A trail: two wraps, two goals.
Practice: which wrap
A table, a paragraph, or a list? Why.
-
A family week with flute.
-
A composition about a trip.
-
The difference island / peninsula for learning, not for handing in a composition.
Now you 💪
Go through three checks. At each one tick in your head: can I see it, or not?
- A planner is not a wall.
- A composition is not cells when a teacher wants a telling.
- You can split a buffet.
If something is missing, go back to the steps above. This is not a test for marks. It is a safety net, so you go on sure, not confused.
Check: You have a grid for times and a paragraph for meaning. Not poured together.
What to take from this lesson
- A task commands the wrap.
- A window pours a wall — cut it off.
- A fridge wants a grid.
- A composition wants your sentences.
- Making it clearer ≠ meeting the brief.
- The names in the examples (Ema, Bára) are made up. Do not put your number, email or photo here.
- Next lesson: When you can do this, go to the next lesson in the same level.
