A hobby is not a catalogue. It is one scene that proves something.

A hobby tempts you into an album: here me, here the thing, here me again. The class survives the album, but takes nothing away.

A hobby story is one scene where something happened, and from that the sentence follows. It happened: it fell, it would not go, it worked the third time, you were scared, someone helped.

From that a rule about learning, care, patience. Not the sentence “it is nice”. Nice is not a scene.

Today you pick one scene from life, not from the internet. You write it into the middle. Beginning a hook from the scene, end a rule.

You are not assembling five slides for real yet. That is the project. Today a scene that can be said without a photo.

Example: twelve bike photos are a shop. A chain in the rain, black hands, she got there — that is a scene. The sentence “maintenance is part of the ride” follows from it. A shiny bike cannot carry the question “what do you do when it rains?”.

On paper four lines: where, what would not go, what you did, what follows from that. Brands and prices do not belong on the wall unless they are the sentence. One hobby. One scene.

Adam had twelve bike photos. Ema one scene: a chain in the rain, black hands, she got there. Sentence: maintenance is part of the ride, not boredom before.

Adam said he had a nicer bike. The teacher heard Ema. Ema had a story. Adam had a shop.

A school hobby is what you do with it when it will not go. When it goes on its own, there is no scene. There is an advert. Ema had a scratch on the chain. The class got the chain even without the hobby. Adam’s shiny bike they did not. Shine is for people who collect bikes. A chain is a bridge.

A scene has a place, a time, a problem, what you did. If a problem is missing, it is a catalogue. Add what would not go. Even a small would-not-go is enough.

A scene proves the sentence

A story at school is not a fairy tale with a villain. It is a scene with a cause. The cause holds the sentence.

Build: where, when, what broke or stuck, what you did, what follows from that. The following is the end. The stuck bit is the middle. The hook can be the stuck bit in one sentence.

On slides you put anchors: place, problem, action, rule. Not ten photos of the action. One action anchor. Speech carries the meaning.

The scene must be understandable without an insider dictionary. Explain one word. Do not fill the whole middle with it.

A hobby is not an advert for a brand. Brands and prices do not belong on the wall unless they are the sentence. The sentence is rarely a price. Often it is care, practice, a rule.

One hobby, one scene. “And I also play” is a second report. Now one.

Ema: rain, chain, a rag, a ride, the sentence maintenance. Adam after the fix: one photo of mud, not twelve shiny ones. The same sentence.

The class believes mud more than shine, because mud is a scene. Shine is a catalogue.

The teacher asks what you do when it rains. Ema knows. Adam knows too, but it was not on the slides. Goods were there. Goods cannot carry a question. A scene can.

Today goods off. Even if they were nice. Now scene words: yard, rain, clicking, a rag, “now I know”. A small truth wins. A big lie is not enough.

You do not photograph and put on a slide other children, injuries, humiliation, a club address where someone could be hurt. The scene is your work and your mistake, not someone else’s shame.

The course has four small projects. You do not have to do them all at once. Today you add only this:

Eight slides for school: a start, three proofs, an end. The title on every slide is a sentence, not “Slide 3”.

Report: even schoolwork can carry a scene “when I did not get it” plus a fact.

Survey: the scene is how you asked, not a story that beats the numbers.

⚖️ A defence

You say one sentence, show proof, answer “and what if…”. If you do not know, you say I don’t know.

Defence: a scene as an example. The sentence as a spine. The scene must not eat the sentence.

Paper: where, snag, action, rule. Then at most three middle slides. No shop.

Paper in four lines: place and time, what would not go, what you did, what follows from that. The following must sit on the sentence from the first lesson. If it does not, fix the sentence or the scene. It must be one world.
Open the hobby file. Middle: up to three slides, Title and body layout. Titles = anchors from the four lines, sentences. Body three words, not a paragraph. You do not need photos today. If there is one, one, not a gallery. Delete a gallery Slide → Delete.
メモs under the middle: the scene in full sentences, your words. That you will say. The wall only anchors. Present (F5), say the scene to the slides. If you slide into a list of things, go back to the snag.
Fix start and stop so they hold the scene. Hook from the snag. End from the rule. Drag thumbnails. In PowerPoint almost the same. One file. 名前 Hobby-scene-名前 is fine.
Save. Tell a parent only the scene with no slides. If they get it and repeat the rule, the scene holds. If they repeat a bike brand, you are in a catalogue. Delete brands from the wall and from the mouth if they do not carry the sentence.

A catalogue, or a scene

You know a list of things because it can be numbered. A scene can be acted.

Cross off the slides a second hobby and a third photo of the same angle.
Add a snag if the scene was only “it went”.
Check there is no other child on the slides, nor an address that does not belong at school.
