Audience: class, teacher, parents

The same topic, a different sentence. It depends who sits in the desks and who marks.

You are not saying it into the air. You are saying it to someone.

Yesterday’s sentence sits only when you know who you are saying it to.

The class wants an example from life. The teacher wants that you understood the task. Parents at meetings want to hear that a child speaks clearly, not that they can meme.

One presentation can have all three in the desks. Then clarity and manners win, not a joke that only five people from chat get.

Today you add to the sentence who is listening, and you adjust the words. Not necessarily the content. The tone.

“Bees are cool” can carry friends. “Bees carry pollen, without them fewer apples” can carry a teacher and dad in the last row.

Example: a joke about a coach that three people from chat get. A new classmate and the teacher stay out. The same game in a sentence even someone who does not follow football can get — that can carry a lesson.

Today paper in three columns: class, teacher, parent. Then you fix the title. One decent version. Not two live ones. Do not put a chat screenshot with a friend on a slide without consent.

Tereza told the class a joke about a coach that three people got. The teacher did not come in. Dad in the back row at an open lesson neither. The rest looked at their watches.

Jonáš said the same game in a sentence even someone who does not follow football can get. The class and the teacher nodded.

Tereza argued that “they know anyway”. They do not. A new classmate, a substitute, a parent. The audience is not your head. Your head knows everything. They do not. Today you write three names: who sits. Then you fix the sentence.

If you do not know, write as if a smart person who did not live your topic sat in the last row. Explain a word. Do not leave a joke that only five people get.

Three ears, one manners

Class: an example, a short joke that does not hurt, tempo. Teacher: that you met the task, time. Parents: calm, readability, no privacy of other children on a slide.

When the three meet, throw out an in-club joke and an insult. Leave an example and a sentence.

言語: English clear enough that the teacher is not catching mistakes instead of the idea. Memes from chat often cannot carry teachers. They are not stupid. They are not in that chat.

The audience is a filter of stories. The filter asks: do they need to hear this, or only I, that I lived it? If only you, the story belongs in a diary.

On the wall belongs what people in the desks can carry. Even someone who came late should be able to repeat the sentence.

Hobby hamster. For the class: “In the morning I do not wake it, it sleeps.” For the teacher you add that it is an example of care, not just cute. 保護者の方へ there is no mess in the room on the slide, nor a sibling’s name.

Jonáš hit it. Tereza put a chat screenshot with a friend. The friend was in the desks. The teacher too. Awkward.

People on a slide are an audience too. Without consent they are not there. Do not put people on the wall who are not in the task. The task is your work, not someone else’s chat.

学校 is more public than a group. A more public sentence is calmer. A calmer sentence can be marked.

Do not make a joke about a classmate, a teacher, looks, a family. Even if the class laughs. Laughter is not everyone’s consent. One of the ears is the teacher. The other is the one the joke is about.

Five slides about something you like doing. One sentence about what it is. No paragraphs from your notebook.

Hobby: a story even someone who does not have that hobby can get.

Eight slides for school: a start, three proofs, an end. The title on every slide is a sentence, not “Slide 3”.

Report: the teacher listens to the sentence, the class to the example.

⚖️ A defence

You say one sentence, show proof, answer “and what if…”. If you do not know, you say I don’t know.

Defence: a panel is not mates from chat. Calmer language.

Three ears on paper

You name the listeners and fix the sentence so it can carry the class and the teacher, not only a group.

Paper in three columns: class, teacher, parent. Into each write one thing that person needs to hear. Not what you need to show. If you do not know a column, write clarity.
Take yesterday’s sentence. Under it write a version for a room where all three columns sit. Delete an insider and an insult. Leave an action and a consequence. Read it out loud. If someone new were in the room, would they get it?
Open the title in Slides. Rewrite the heading to that school sentence that can carry the class and the teacher. Keep size and contrast. In the notes write who the speech is for: class plus teacher. In PowerPoint almost the same: the same on the title, one file.
Do not start a second version “for parents” and “for the class” unless the teacher wants it. One decent one can carry both. Two versions are a mess, like in 準備.
Save. Tell a parent: this is for the class and the teacher, not for chat. Let them say which word they do not get. Explain that word or swap it. A word a parent does not get, part of the class does not get either.

A joke filter

A joke the teacher cannot carry does not belong in a school speech, even if it is true.

Cross out of the speech one hint that only your gang gets.
Explain one specialist word in ordinary English.
Check the slides that there is no other child on them without a reason and consent.
