A cash-out fee

A cash machine can take extra. The same crowns, a different wrapper price. Read the display.

A cash-out is not always miễn phí. Read the extra line.

Taking cash is a wrapper back into coins. A wrapper can cost a fee. A stranger machine, abroad, “a fast cash-out”. The number 200 in a hand can be 239 from an account. The difference 39 is spending. Write it, or let a parent know.

It is not VAT. It is a service price. Shopper adds transport. Banker adds a fee.

Adam 200, a stranger machine, 39 a fee. He thought 200. The account −239. Ema reads the display “fee 39, do you agree?”. No, they go to their bank’s machine, or a parent knows and agrees. 39 is an envelope.

💡

On the display look for a fee. No = leave. Yes only a parent. You do not approve 39 from queue shame.

An extra line

A fee is spending with no goods. Like transport. A miễn phí cash-out at “your” network can be. A stranger network no. Abroad more. Currency from Chuẩn bị: 200 with no unit by a fee in euros hurts more.

A card limit and a fee are two brakes. Read both.

A trip till: cashing out 12× by 200 with a fee is silly. One bigger cash-out with a parent, or a teacher’s card. Planner.

Ema wants to shorten it to “it will be fine somehow”. Adam asks what the lesson A cash-out fee is for, when a table can do a sum. A sum does not count respect, a PIN, a trap or an envelope. The core is: A cash-out fee is spending. Read the display. A person by a machine does not want a PIN.

Adults pay the rent. The card, the account and the PIN belong to a parent. A child’s email does not belong here. Pocket-money numbers do not belong on the network. If you break these rules in the lesson “A cash-out fee”, you know a word, not the course.

200 + 39 = 239. An envelope 200 cannot carry 239. Adam would cash out. Ema no. 39 is almost juice.

For practice: 3 cash-outs × 39 = 117. Pointless. One cash-out.

Practice numbers, not a bank statement. Ema has 80 Kč in the want envelope. Adam pushes a step this lesson can name. When Ema uses the core, either it waits for a parent, or it fits the envelope. If not, anger and a hole are left — proof of pressure, not that the lesson is pointless.

⚠️

A machine where a person by you “helps” and wants a PIN is not a fee. It is theft. Leave. A parent.

Why this right now

You are in the course Money with Martin, level Banker. You can write numbers in a notebook or a table, but the topic is money and decisions, not Excel formulas. The account, the card and the PIN belong to a parent. A child’s email does not belong here. Do not put pocket-money numbers on the network.

This is not the Sheets with Martin course. A table may help, but the mark of success is a decision, not SUM.

You will know this lesson by one sentence: A cash-out fee is spending. Read the display. A person by a machine does not want a PIN. When you can say it to a parent or a teacher, you have the core. The rest is practice, not magic.

A parent’s account and pocket money: who pays the fee? An agreement. First see that a fee exists.

If you skip this, the next lesson in level Banker will stand on fog. You can do 200+39. The sentence leave by a fee lives. A PIN with a stranger no. It is not a test for marks. It is a safety net, so “A cash-out fee” is not only a heading.

Four things you will build from the course

The course has four small projects. You do not have to do them all at once. Today you add only what this lesson can do.

🪙 Pocket money

A 14-day record: income, spending, balance. What you do not write down is as if you did not spend it — and that is a lie.

Pocket money: write 39, or “not from mine” when a parent pays.

🚌 Class trip

A budget, a reserve, a plan B. A shared till has rules.

A trip: one cash-out, not twelve fees.

🎮 Game shop

V-bucks and a loot box are a purchase. A subscription keeps going.

A game: this fee is not. A game fee is another bridge.

🧾 Stall / mini-company

Cost, price, profit. Three numbers for the class.

A stall: cash from a school account a teacher cashes out, not you at a stranger machine.

Workshop: 200 plus 39

Add. Write when to leave. Do not practise at a stranger machine for real with a card.

  1. 200+39. Can an envelope 200 carry it?

  2. The word fee on paper. What you will do when it lights up.

  3. A person “helps with a PIN”. A sentence no + leave.

  4. A plan: one cash-out, not three.

You count with a sum. A queue is not a reason to tap 39. Queue pressure is pressure.

Pocket money: Pocket money: write 39, or “not from mine” when a parent pays. Do not write someone else’s amount, a PIN, an IBAN or “how much a classmate gets” next to it. A rule and a practice number are enough — or an honest zero.

Class trip: A trip: one cash-out, not twelve fees. Do not write someone else’s amount, a PIN, an IBAN or “how much a classmate gets” next to it. A rule and a practice number are enough — or an honest zero.

What to tell a parent with no wage and no account number: “Today I went through a cash-out fee — A cash-out fee is spending. Read the display. A person by a machine does not want a PIN.” If they have no time, a slip in the notebook is enough. Stories and class chat are not enough.

I can add a fee. If you cannot see this, let the next lesson wait. It is not shame. It is a hole in the chapter, not in you.

Practice: a fee, or help?

What is spending?

  1. 200 in a hand, 239 an account. What is 39?

  2. Three cash-outs × 39. Why silly?

  3. A stranger + a PIN. Why not a fee?

  4. A fee in euros with no unit. What from Chuẩn bị?

Now you 💪

Go through three checks. By each one, tick in your head: do I see it, or not?

  1. I can add a fee.
  2. I read the display before yes.
  3. Help by a PIN is a trap.

If something is missing, go back to the steps above. It is not a test for marks. It is a safety net, so you go on with certainty, not with a mess.

Check: You can do 200+39. The sentence leave by a fee lives. A PIN with a stranger no.
